Things are quiet, too quiet – as they say in the spaghetti westerns. Minefields have been left untouched for a week or so now, and patrols aren’t finding any snotties around. SF guys coming back from patrol report no activity around these parts at all.
A helicopter went up with thermal imaging the other night and discovered that there are huge gatherings of Slovs in the burnt out remains of the townships here abouts. Seems they’re building up their numbers for something big. The brass here are on edge and thinking we just get the hell out of Dodge before the bogies spring whatever trap they have conjured up in their addled, virus ridden brains.
